Ingredients
- 600 g cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 20 g basil (stems and leaves separated)
- 1 pinch fine sea salt
- wood fired bread, to taste

1. Halve the tomatoes
- COOK 1 Halve the cherry tomatoes
2. Separate the basil
- COOK 2 Separate the basil stems and leaves
3. Marinate the tomatoes
- COOK 1 In a covered bowl or airtight container, combine the tomatoes, basil stems, olive oil, and salt
- COOK 1 Set aside for 6-12 hours at cool room temperature or in the fridge
4. Remove from the fridge
- COOK 2 If chilling, remove the tomatoes from the fridge for an hour before serving
5. Stir the tomatoes
- COOK 2 Stir again
🤝 Cook 1 hands over the tomatoes.
6. Plate and serve
- BOTH Spoon the tomatoes onto a plate or a bowl
- BOTH Spoon over the juices
- BOTH Tear over fresh basil
- BOTH Serve with hot flatbreads
